The Wedding Process

Process

Booking

After completing the booking form, and paying the booking fee, your date will be confirmed.  I will then email you to get as much information as possible about the wedding style and any ideas you have for your makeup look and hair style for the day and to arrange a date for the trial.  If you have a Pinterest account I will ask you to share your board with me. I gather all the details I can so that I'm armed with everything I need before the trial.

The Trial

The trial will generally take place at your home. I will arrive with a full kit of makeup and hair styling products along with a mirror. All I need from you is a room with good light, a table and a chair. It's best if your hair is dry and styled in your normal way and you're free from makeup. We will discuss colours and products and look at any photos you've gathered of the look you're after.

The Big Day

Timings will be carefully worked out after your trial when we have established the style that you require and the number of people in your bridal party. I am more than able to create the look that you and your bridesmaids desire, without compromising time on the wedding day.
In general, I like to allow an hour and a half for the bride's hair and makeup and approximately one hour for each extra person who requires both hair and makeup.  If you're getting married early in the day and have many bridesmaids, I may need to bring a colleague with me to assist.
